As a guideline for the consumers to select the right products with proper nutritional value, which contributes to their good health. “Healthier Choice” nutritional logo campaign is the initiation of Nutritional Promotion Foundation, under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Office of The National Food Committee, Thai Health Promotion Foundation, Food and Drug Administration, Ministry of Public Health, and The Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University. “Healthier Choice” nutritional logo is a noticeable and simple logo on the products indicating that such food or beverage products have been deliberately investigated by the nutritionist. It is a reassurance that these products meet the nutrition requirement set under their respective criteria, particularly on the amount of sugar, fat, and sodium content. The products with this logo is a healthy choice, enabling consumers to consume nutritional products with less sugar, fat, and sodium, and to avoid other products that may pose undesirable effects on their health.
As of now, there are 73 Nestlé’ products that have been guaranteed by Healthier Choice nutritional logo, the biggest in number in Thailand, such as NESCAFÉ’ Red Cup, NESCAFÉ Americano, NESCAFÉ Black Ice, MILO 3in1 Less Sugar, MILO 3in1 No Sucrose, NESVITA, BEAR BRAND Enriched NutriStrong UHT Milk, and Nestlé’ ice cream under following brands ESKIMO, MILO, and LA FRUTTA, etc.
We believe that food is the significant source of power to enhance quality of life, reemphasizing our “Good food, Good life” concept, which reflects Nestlé’s promise to deliver tasty and nutritious food.
