Our response to COVID-19

Nestlé Indochina extends a helping hand to local communities in the face of COVID-19 pandemic

People are at the heart of our business. Therefore, the health and safety of our employees, business partners and the communities where we operate is extremely important for us. We are working very hard to keep them healthy, safe and supported.

Today, we are right here with the rest of the world in fighting this significant global challenge.

In this pandemic, it is more important than ever to bring our purpose of “We unlock the power of food to enhance quality of life for everyone, today and for generations to come” to life, to give back to society in which we operate in the most challenging time.

Our actions:
In Thailand

Partnership with local Thai Red Cross Society

To help our communities around the world cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, Nestlé has announced an important partnership with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to further support those in need during this situation.

On April 20, 2020, our CEO Victor Seah and the Swiss Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Mrs. Helene Budliger Artieda, visited the Thai Red Cross Society to make a donation to support efforts to combat COVID-19 in Thailand. The Thai Red Cross Society has been offering support to vulnerable groups and working closely with local communities and Village Health Volunteers through Provincial Red Cross Chapters to control the outbreak across the country. Our donation will provide help to medical professionals and facilities in the form of personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as relief kits to the less fortunate individuals impacted by COVID-19.
