Bangkok – 19 August 2019: MILO, led by Mr. Victor Seah (2nd from right), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Indochina, and Mr. Chaiyong Sakulborrirug (2nd from left), Business Executive Officer – Dairy & Adult Nutrition, Nestlé (Thai) Ltd., announced the four winning teams in the final round of the MILO Futsal 2019 Road to Barcelona tournament. The tournament strengthens MILO’s mission to encourage kids to “grow with sport, because sport is a great teacher.” The winning teams are Talumball in the 7 to 8 year-old category; RTAF Youth Football Academy B in the 9 to 10 year-old category; Sacred Heart Convent School A in the 11 to 12 year-old category; and Patumkongka School in the 13 to 15 year-old category.
Each winning team in the tournament, which is part of the road to developing young Thai futsal players between seven and 15 years old, will receive a trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and share in scholarships worth 676,000 baht. MILO is also giving 50 kids from the tournament, who were the best-performing players and demonstrated great sportsmanship, an opportunity to attend the “MILO Camp” to learn special playing techniques with a world-class coach from FC Barcelona.
