Nestlé Supports FoSTAT – Nestlé Quiz Bowl 2024, Fostering Food Science Talent to Drive Thailand’s Food Industry

Nestlé (Thai) Ltd. partnered with the Food Science and Technology Association of Thailand (FoSTAT) to host the 20th "FoSTAT – Nestlé Quiz Bowl," a national competition focused on food science and technology. This event encourages students to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges. This year, students from 60 institutions across Thailand participated, with a team from Kasetsart University winning the prestigious first-place prize, which includes a royal trophy Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The winning team will also have the opportunity to visit Nestlé's regional research and development center in Singapore. Additionally, all top four teams are offered internship opportunities at Nestlé Thailand. Over two decades, more than 6,240 food science students have joined this platform, underscoring Nestlé’s commitment to youth development and nurturing skilled talent to advance Thailand’s food industry, which plays a crucial role in the nation’s economy and society.
