Bangkok – August 29, 2025: Central Pattana Public Company Limited is partnering with Nestlé (Thai) Ltd., which bottles and distributes Mineré natural mineral water and Nestlé Pure Life drinking water to continue the “Bottles Reborn” project for the third year. This collaboration reinforces both partners’ commitment to sustainability by setting up plastic bottle collection points at over 48 Central Food locations nationwide. To celebrate the opening of PARKSIDE MARKET at Central Park Shopping Center, a new landmark in the heart of Bangkok, the project will provide special eco-friendly aprons made from recycled plastic bottles to the baristas at all SO! COFF locations and to staff in Central Food stores across the country. This initiative supports the Mineré brand mission to close the plastic bottle loop, enabling used plastic bottles to be recycled endlessly into new products. At the same time, it aims to raise awareness about properly sorting PET bottles after consumption. This partnership builds on Mineré’s leadership in circularity with the pioneering launch of Mineré rPET bottles in Thailand’s drinking water category. This year, the Bottles Reborn project aims to collect 90 tons of plastic bottles.

Mr. Chaiyong Sakulborrirug, Business Executive Officer – Water Business Unit at Nestlé (Thai) Ltd. said, “Last year's ‘Bottles Reborn’ project was a success with bottles taken into the proper recycling process. This year, we are taking another step by producing aprons for the baristas at SO! COFF locations nationwide. Each apron is made from four recycled plastic bottles. In addition, setting up plastic bottle collection points at Central Food allows everyone to play a part in recycling by disposing bottles correctly. Mineré is the first and only mineral water brand in Thailand to use recycled plastic, or rPET.”

Mrs. Pattra Sapyaprapa, Executive of the Food Center Business Line – Central Pattana Public Company Limited, said, “Central Food, as a leader of food centers under Central Pattana, is committed to being more than just a real estate development. We strive to be an organization that contributes to building a sustainable society. The Bottles Reborn project, in its third year of collaboration with Mineré, reflects how the business sector can work with partners and the public to solve plastic waste problems creatively and effectively. We are proud to see plastic bottles transformed into aprons for our SO! COFF barista, as well as other staff at Central Food. This not only symbolizing the revaluation of something that many people overlook, but also serves as a symbol of sustainable waste management, helping to create a truly contribute to a sustainable, livable, and balanced future between people and nature.”

Over the three-year period of the Bottles Reborn project, combined with this year’s goals, it will have collected over 200 tons of used PET bottles for recycling. Central Food sells Mineré natural mineral water in 500 ml and 750 ml rPET bottles. Consumers can look for plastic bottle return points at Central Food Parks nationwide to join the effort to give new life to plastic bottles in Thailand, which contributes to Nestlé reaching its Net Zero 2050 goals.
