Ms. Preeyaporn Suwanaged, (Center) Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment together with Ms. Nareerat Panmanee, (Right) Deputy Secretary General of Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning presented a certificate as an official Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures (OECMs) to Mr. Chaiyong Sakulborrirug, (Left) Business Executive Officer - Water Business Unit, Nestlé (Thai) Ltd. 

Nestlé (Thai) Ltd. received a certificate from the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, recognizing Khanom Jeen Canal in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, under the “Nestlé Waters Cares for Water” project, as an official Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures (OECMs) site in Thailand. Nestlé has been working together with local communities and multi-sector partners for more than 10 years to restore Khanom Jeen Canel, improving water quality and quantity, enhancing ecosystem, and delivering sustainable benefits to the community through a comprehensive three-pronged water regeneration approach: Educate, Protect, Restore.
