The FoSTAT–Nestlé Quiz Bowl is an annual quiz about food science and technology that aims to provide a forum for university students to strengthen their knowledge, build up their professional awareness, and develop good profiles for the contestants. This will eventually contribute to professional resource development for Thailand’s food industry. This year, a team of students from Chulalongkorn University won the FoSTAT-Nestlé Quiz Bowl. They received the Privy Councilor trophy, scholarships, and an educational trip during the upcoming study break to the Nestlé Research & Development Center in Singapore, where they will be inspired by experiencing the importance of scientific research and development in a real-life food & beverage business environment. First runner-up in the quiz was a team from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, second runner-up was a team from Thammasat University, and third runner-up was a team from Kasetsart University.
